Teaming up with Inkmedix to help them with their Tattoo aftercare balms – we developed the brand identity and the packaging design for the range. The brand identity, we created to be clean and sharp, avoided the usual visual cliche's associated with Tattoo's for the brand name so not to limit it's appeal and stunt it's potential growth into other associated sectors. The packaging design needed to be bold, strong and ultimately catch the attention of it's audience – unlike the actual brand identity itself, we did not constrain ourselves from Tattoo inspired imagery and got stuck right in illustrating loads of Tattoo based concepts for the packaging design. To differentiate each of the products in the range we treated each application of the packaging design differently, vibrant colour for the colour care balm, sharp black and white print for the contrast care and a stunning spot UV varnish for the hydrating balm.
